One of the most interesting devices produced by the ?ód? Kinotechnical Works in the 1970s was the Diaprex slide projector. It used interchangeable modules: a kaleidoscope and a manual and automatic slide replacement. The most original attachment was a kaleidoscope, which enabled rotating colourful spots on the screen to be displayed. Equally original solutions included an automatic slide changer, that displayed slides in standard 5 x 5 cm frames, placed on a vertically moving ring.
